Trainee Patent Attorney

Amy graduated from the University of Southampton in 2024 with a first class masters in Natural Sciences. She joined Sandersons in September 2024 and is currently working towards qualification as a UK Chartered Patent Attorney and a European Patent Attorney.

Experience

In addition to her technical background in organic chemistry, pharmacology and aspects of environmental science, Amy’s work also includes handling patents for mechanical inventions and advising clients in relation to trade marks and designs.

Her multidisciplinary background ensures that her clients receive well-rounded and informed guidance across a range of industries.

Outside Work

Amy has recently caught the running bug and is training for a half marathon. In her free time, she enjoys painting pottery, baking for the office, reading murder mysteries, and keeping up with her Duolingo Spanish streak. She’s also planning her next bucket-list adventure – hoping to travel to Peru to visit Machu Picchu.
