
Technical Assistant
Andrea completed his Bachelor degree in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Padova (Italy). He then moved to London where he obtained an MSc in Aerospace Engineering and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Kingston University of London. Andrea’s PhD research relates to numerical modelling of three-dimensional swept- and crossing-shock-wave/turbulent boundary-layer interactions. Whilst doing his PhD, Andrea worked as a lecturer in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) at Kingston University of London.
Andrea joined Sanderson & Co. in July 2017 where is currently studying to become a Chartered Patent Attorney and an European Patent Attorney.
Experience
Andrea joined a large London-based firm of patent and trade mark attorneys in 2015 as a Trainee Patent Attorney in the Engineering, Physics and Mechanical devices patent department. His main clients operate in industry sectors such as oil & gas exploration and extraction, drilling systems and tools, thermal insulation systems, and automotive, and aerospace. During his training, Andrea has obtained a postgraduate certificate in Intellectual Property Law at Queen Mary University of London.

Outside Work
Outside of work, Andrea enjoys playing guitar, cooking, trekking, and spending time with his young family. His Italian enthusiasm knows no bounds and he is looking to complicate his life further but trying to find the time to go sailing while still studying for his next set of exams.
